What if I don't have insurance? For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged known as a time of service discount. If you have no insurance or do not have chiropractic benefits there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable. We accept cash, check and major credit cards to be paid at time of service. We also can use care credit for those that chose to go that route.

Why would my doctor tell me not to see a chiropractor? Many MD's are 'old-school' and believe that rest, pills and physical therapy are the best form of treatment. Some may have never interacted with a chiropractor and aren't clear on the different types of therapy we offer to treat the nerve, bone and muscle components to your issue(s).
-
Which insurance plans do you accept? Most insurance plans are accepted at our office. We accept auto accident, workers compensation, personal injury and most health insurance plans. Some of those include BCBS, Humana, United Health Care, Medicare, FHCP - Florida Health Care Plans and Aetna/Cigna through ASH networks. Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. Our staff will verify and explain your benefits before treatment, at no charge. ***Please note that we utilize every available online tool to check insurance benefits, but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. It ultimately is your responsibility to know what services are covered in a chiropractic setting before making an appointment. Medicare and Medicare supplemental plans "ONLY" cover the adjustment/manipulation. They "DO NOT" cover the examination, any X-rays or modality treatments ie, manual therapy, muscle stimulation and/or ultrasound.

How likely is it that you will be able to help me with my condition? If you have pain, stiffness or soreness in the following areas: Neck, Back, Hip, Knee, TMJ, Neck/Shoulder, Ankle/Foot then there is a great chance that I can help. In the event I can not, I will certainly tell you that and refer you to the right person that can!
-
How quickly will I be seen and how long will I have to wait once I am there?Often, within a day or two . If you need an emergency appointment, let us know on the phone or in your email and we can arrange something sooner. One of my personal pet-peeves is people that run late and I am no exception to the rule! We do everything in our power to keep your appointments running on time. Obviously, circumstances do happen but this is the exception and NOT the rule. We realize people are busy and deserve to be seen on time.

I have been diagnosed with arthritis. Is this something you treat? There is no CURE for arthritis. What we can do is manage the symptoms that come from arthritis. Many people with arthritis get to a point where they have no pain at all with our treatment methods.

Can I get my X-rays done at the office? To better assist with patient care, we have added digital X-ray to our list of services offered at Florida Coast Chiropractic Clinic. Many will be greeted by Sophie with a friendly smile as you enter the office. Please be aware that not all health insurances will cover in-office X-ray in a chiropractic setting, so you will be informed ahead of time to any out-of-pocket cost associated with this service.
